About Me
I aim to offer the highest standard of treatment, having studied at the well known North London School of Sports Massage (NLSSM) to gain my BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Sports & Remedial Massage. My pregnancy & post-natal qualification was undertaken with Burrell Education who are leading-edge educators in pregnancy & post-natal massage. I also have a Diploma in Oncology Massage, specialist training in TMJ Massage and Scar Therapy, and I am an FMT certified Rock Doc. I am a member of the Sports Massage Association (SMA) and am registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
I started my career in Human Resources before re-training to become a massage therapist. I became interested in the field after receiving treatment myself and seeing first-hand the benefits it can bring. Having spent many years in a desk based occupation I understand the problems many people face in terms of postural issues, pain and discomfort. I am qualified as a Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessor in order to be best placed to advise clients on correct work station set-up and ergonomic equipment considerations if they are experiencing problems that may be related to these factors.
During my massage training I had the opportunity to gain a wide variety of experience, both of working with clients from different backgrounds and also event work such as the London Marathon and the London to Brighton Challenge.
I have a keen interest in health and wellbeing and understand the importance of providing the right environment for the body to repair, recover and return to optimum performance. This is equally as important whether you are a top sports person or just want to enjoy a fit and active lifestyle. I am committed to working with clients to understand their needs and deliver treatment to meet their goals, whether it be to provide massage for general health and wellbeing or to support their recovery from injury.
Testimonials
I found great comfort in the pain relief from Fay's sessions and her suggestions on stretches and gentle exercises between treatments ensured I was pain free for longer.
J.A. - Witham
The most effective part of the sessions was fixing muscle problems that I didn't realise were problems - muscles that were painful that I had just put down to "that's the way it's meant to be" were fixed with a massage from Fay.
M.M. - Billericay
Fay has helped me overcome issues that Doctors, and my best endeavours, couldn't touch - which was amazing!
